SECRET II

From Adam to Adam

These three  paintings turn out to conceal speeches with which Hilma confirms her story from the first secret. In fact, they complete the whole series of paintings in the 'Paintings for the Temple'. The paintings form a triptych, the first two of which reflect anew the dual idea, the duality of everything. Together, the three paintings can tell us again about time, about years and lunar cycles, from Adam to Christ and the Age of the Spirit. From Eden to the Kingdom of God and the zero year. Man now becomes mature and free, and God's law is written in his heart as the prophets of old foretold.

  • The moon is at the center of the first paintings; it represents the subconscious, the spiritual. Two angels stand with drawn swords in the moon, perhaps Michael and Gabriel. Both are associated with the birth of Jesus in the New Testament. The sword symbolizes the Spirit of God and the Word of God. They form a St. Andrew's Cross.
  • The zodiac signs are painted anticlockwise and clockwise respectively. They are shaped like a square around thecircle/earth in both paintings. One circle is gold, the other silver. The front and back of the earth are here. Maybe night and day. Here could be new moon and full moon. Or sun and lunar eclipse. One of the moon's orbits is horizontal, the other vertical. And here again are the blue and yellow colors. Hilma sees the duality in everything.
  • When panels I + II are put together, a classic Christian symbol is formed, a ring cross. In a Christian context, the circle and the cross are the image of resurrection and eternal life! Two shall become one and all shall merge in Christ in accordance with Christian love mysticism.
  • The zodiac sign of Aries, in the top right-hand corner, ushers in the months of the year from one to twelve. In classical number mysticism, you add up sequences of numbers and get a sum to interpret. If you add the first four signs of the zodiac in the square of the first tablet - 1+2+3+4 - you get the number 10. It is the perfect number in the Bible, known in connection with the commandments and the celebration of the Jewish feast days. If you continue in the same way with the second board's square and star signs, you get - 5+6+7+8 - which gives the number 26. In Jewish tradition, this is the number for God's Hebrew name YHVH.
  • When tablets I and II are put together as 10 and 26, the number 1026 is interpreted in Hilma's ring cross. A Christian number mystic could do this with the words that God is one and eternal (10), and his name is YHVH(26). The meaning of his name he himself has pronounced as: I am.
  •  The zodiacal signs enclosing the circle form a square. If it is given the measure four times 1026 , the sum of the sides of the square in number of years is the same as the 6*6*6 Jewish lunar cycles in the first secret of Hilma. From the birth of Adam until 42 BC. The last 42 years are now represented by the square on plate III. Here you count - 9+10+11+12. It is the sum of 42 years until the zero year and the Kingdom of God. The signs of the stars in the tablets symbolize the passing of years and time. The sign of the ram symbolizes its beginning with Adam. A total of 4 146 biblical years from the birth of Adam to year zero.
  •  The rainbow and the Light that came into the world was Christ, the second Adam. From the very beginning in Eden, Hilma paints the colors of the rainbow. The age of the Spirit now fulfills God's promise. The rainbow in the last painting illuminates the whole earth with the light of truth, and becomes the hope of a new world and a new age. The cross is the center of the picture. Adding the three paintings and their numbers-10 + 26 + 42 - the sum can also be written as 26 + 26 + 26 and interpreted in a mystical way: With the cross came the promise of resurrection through the Father, the Son and the Spirit.
