After her death, Hilma af Klint (1862-1944) left a great art treasure to the world, the so-called Temple Paintings. In her view, her work would not be understood until long after her death. Neither she herself nor her contemporaries understood her art, its magnificent beauty and the secret messages she knew were hidden in the paintings. Only in a new and different time could they be interpreted and understood. That time is now, and knowledge and understanding of her work has increased. Many are waiting for her secrets to be revealed soon.
