17. victory

The dragon/snake was crushed but stabbed Christ in the heel. He wears an armor of black and gold. The black shows that he took man's sin upon himself, the gold that he was victorious. His cloak is red and white, symbolizing love and truth. He is enclosed in a mandorla, the common part of two circles. Two shall become one. Jesus was both God and man in the Christian faith. The heart is surrounded by yellow and blue, which converge at the intersection of the white cross. The black cross seems to nail the Serpent to the underworld. The oval, perhaps the image of the universe, has seven ellipses that begin in blue and yellow, then turn to green, and finally become the sum of all colors, which is white. There reigns the Eternal King of the Universe.
